Lyrics

Not Many Miles From Home
Songwriter – Gary Davis 9/26

I rely on my dad at the end of day
To get us through this raging storm
I'm trusting that he knows the way
To get us both ... safely Home

He held my hand as we would go
Through the woods, over walls of stone
His hand-held lantern all a glow
Saying, we're not many miles from home

We are not many miles from Home,
Keep your faith when the long roads come;
Though the hills rise high and the winds may blow,
We are not many miles from Home.

I've travelled life's road a very long way
And soon I will never more roam
My Savior will soon meet me at the gate
Saying, we're not many miles from home

We are not many miles from Home,
Keep your faith when the long roads come;
Though the hills rise high and the winds may blow,
We are not many miles from Home.
