Lyrics

Mom & Dad Always Dancin’

Gary David & Mark Brinkman 6/26

There was a Radio on the counter
Tuned to Country One O Four
They'd push the table in the corner
Throw some sawdust on the floor
No matter how their day unfolded ...
The two-step made things right
Mom and Dad would start to dancin’
In the kitchen most every night

Mom and Dad were always dancin' ...
in the Kitchen, when we were young
Their laughter was so perfect,
we could tell ... they were in love
Mom would smile as they were waltzin'...
Dad would gaze into her eyes
Mom and Dad were always dancin' ...
in the kitchen most every night

It brings back precious memr'ys...
when I hear a radio...
I can see them move so gently...
between the sink, the fridge and stove...
I thank God for every moment...
I had them in my life...
Mom and Dad were always dancing...
in the kitchen most every night.
