Lyrics

Lord, Remove My Coat of Pride

The morning light, it finds my face,
A sinner's heart in need of grace.
I carry burdens, and oh how I cry.
Lord, please take my coat of pride
Oh, Strip it away, Lord, Take it all
I hear Your whisper, Your gentle call
Lay it down, Lay it aside
Lord, remove my coat of pride

Every stitch Every thread I wove
Fell apart when I met Your love
The weight I carried the lies I’d hide
Lord, please take my coat of pride
Oh, Strip it away, Lord, Take it all
I hear Your whisper, Your gentle call
Lay it down, Lay it aside
Lord, remove my coat of pride

Oh, Strip it away, Lord, Take it all
I hear Your whisper, Your gentle call
Lay it down, Lay it aside
Lord, remove my coat of pride
